Kanban board columns - how to make them permanently displayed?

Ian Court September 29, 2023

Hello,

I've created a Kanban board with these columns -

  1. To Do
  2. In Progress
  3. Ready for Dev
  4. In Development
  5. System Test
  6. UAT
  7. Done

However as there are no tickets in columns 4-6 they don't display when viewing the board.

How do I get them to be permanently displayed even if they don't contain any tickets?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks,

Ian

Hi ,

You need to assign the desired issue status to those specific columns in order for them to be displayed. then those columns will be displayed

Best regards,

Geethanjali

Hi @Ian Court , welcome to the community.

Could you share information about what type of project you are using? Is this a software or business project? Is this a Team or Company managed project (lower left corner of project page).

Hi Jack,

It's a company-managed project and the project I'm using the board for is for the development of a software package

Ian
