Jira roadmap only displays the status of Epics that are "Done"

Question

In my current Jira Cloud Roadmap view, when I transition an Epic to the Done state the status will display next to the Epic which is great. Is there any way to make Jira Roadmap display Epic status that is "In Progress?

That way in my Roadmap view I can differentiate between Done, In Progress, and ToDo Epics.

Yes indeed, this is weird it only works this way and I am missing that for my other states as well. Is there a way to enable it? Or an plan to implement it?
