Jira Custom field Plugin Module logged In User Permissions Validation

Hello, 

I'm new to the Atlassian Plugins SDK,

and I created a custom field that takes a numeric value and put the necessary validations on it. 

What I want now is to implement controlling the field's visibility and editability (Field being editable or not) based on the groups that the user is a part of. 

Any idea on how to achieve that?

like resources and documentation articles.
