JIRA New Issue view - how to link existing attachments

Question

Does anyone know how to link/reference existing attachments in an issue (using the new issue view)?

I have an issue with several attachments, but I need to reference one of those attachments in multiple places in the Description field.

As far as I can tell, I have to re-upload the attachment every time I want to reference it in the description.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, the new view does not have the functionality to show only the attachments of the current ticket, it will show all the recent attachments that you used. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
