Is it possible to see Epic --> Story --> Subtask nesting in the timeline view?

I have a project with Stories nested under Epics and Subtasks nested under Stories. In the list view the nesting looks fine but in the timeline view it looks like the nesting starts at the Story level and the Epics end up dangling as their own line item. Project was created using the Project management template.

Hi @Gabriel Hein , welcome to the community and thanks for your question.

I had a look in the documentation for Jira Work Management Timeline View and it seems to only support two levels of hierarchy, as you said you are experiecing.

Create issues and subtasks on the timeline | Jira Work Management Cloud | Atlassian Support

I think to be able to see Epic --> Story --> Subtask, you would need to install an app like Hierarchy for Jira or Panorama.

Alternatively, if you can check the project type to be a software, you can get a view like this in the roadmap, where you can see the Epic, Story and then in the Story that it has 2 children-image.png

I hope this helps but if not, please give us your feedback and either I or someone else can try to help. Cheers.
