Cood afternoon!
I have the following situation: Epic was created, then several tasks were created and sub-tasks for them also.
But these structure became complex and not understandable. So can I highlight one task and make it epic ( chance type) in order to separate branches?
Hi @Svetlana,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Yes, you can change the issue type, all you have to do is use the Move function and move it to an Epic. Just go to the task you want to change and click on the three-dot menu and select Move and then follow the instructions.
Thanks!
So, i have one more question!
Is it possible to put sub-sub -task on the board ?
Now ony epic,task and sub-task are put.

No, a sub-task cannot have a sub-task.

Thanks! i've used these way. But sub-tasks of this task have been removed.
It there way that doesn't delete sub-problems but make them on 1 level higher.
F.E.:
Task ->Epic
Sub Tasks -> Tasks
and so on

Hi @Svetlana - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You should be able to do a Move on the issue and change the Issue Type to Epic.

No, there's not a way to all of that at one time. It's a very manual process.
