Is There A Way To Back Up 3rd Party App Data In Jira Cloud?

Atlassian documentation specifically says that you cannot export Jira Cloud App data: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/

I sent an email to Rewind Support and they also said they don't support app data backup.

It really is dependent on the framework the App uses.  Apps created with Forge use Atlassian's cloud infrastructure.  Apps using Atlassian Connect use the App vendor's cloud infrastructure.

Because of this, there's no way an App like Rewind can support this (currently).

Maybe an idle question, but do you know if apps using either form of cloud infrastructure can be backed up?
