Integrate Shipping (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc) with Jira?

Hey all,

     I am looking for a way to improve my companies efficiency in tracking and managing shipments (both from my company to clients, as well as from suppliers to my company).  Since we use Jira to manage our workflow, including shipments, it would be ideal for this solution to integrate well with Jira (to save my team from having to input the data twice).

If anyone has a solution for this that they like (be it combining a shipping software with Jira via automation, or something directly in Jira), or a recommendation for something that would fit the bill, I would greatly appreciate it!

Adding to Ben’s comments, I believe ShipStation can only be a part of the equation depending on how complex your usecase is. ShipStation is part of the Auctane family of shipping solutions. ShipEngine on the other hand is an API that you can work with to integrate with the Atlassian tool stack.

Also, because ShipStation is a cloud-based app you might use Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) to connect Jira Cloud with ShipStation.

Furthermore, it seems that the ShipEngine Connect team is open to discuss integrations (i.e with Jira in this case) if you fill out this form letting them that you’d like to connect a shipping software solution with your Jira instance and the processes you and your organization are hoping to streamline as a result.

Maybe this is something that might fit the bill. Check it out and see it matches up with your requirements. 

Basically, the integration of two applications. Ship station used to managed the shipments and Jira Service Management to managed request and orders.
