I'm an admin using In the Jira Cloud Advanced Roadmaps (Timeline/Plan) and in the Reporter column on a plan, there is no dropdown to select a reporter.  There is a dropdown to select an Assignee.

How can I get a dropdown to select a reporter?  The only way I can change the reporter currently is by opening the issue and changing it there.

Hi @Cash Coyne

Reporter is only available for display, sorting, grouping, and filtering - you cannot edit it via Advanced Roadmaps at this stage.

If this is a feature you would like, you can request it via JAC: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

Hi @Cash Coyne

just to add to Stephen's answer: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. This includes the reporter:

JXL also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies (which can include your Advanced Roadmaps hierarchy, too), issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting. These make JXL not only great for fast and easy issue work, but also a great extension to e.g. Advanced Roadmaps.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
