I'm trying to connect to Jira using QuickSight and not all the fields are visible in QuickSight.

KRIPA M November 6, 2023

Eg: Sprint name, Sprint Start Date and End Date, Epic Name, Story points are not visible in QuickSight fields.

Is it because of  the fields that are locked in Jira?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That's up to how the QuickSight mapping has been configured.

I see QuickSight mapping is configured correctly. But for some of the fields data is null however data is available in Jira.

Example: Sprints, Epic name are null.

Could you show us the configuration?  The names shown in your sheet are not the names I would expect to see in the mapping.

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- ,

I want to get data about sprint, epic, etc which are custom fields. However I was not able to see the table itself.

You will need to configure quicksight to read the sprint data, it will need a new table for that.

Epic is not a custom field, and it's not done as the Epic Link any more, you need to look at the parent field on the issues (also, not a custom field)

Hi KRIPA M, were you able to figure this out? I'm also dealing with seeing null for the fields you were mentioning.
