Hello there,
I suddenly can't receive email notifications if I update one Jira ticket or add one comment. Is there any change that caused this?
Thanks,
Joyce
I'm guessing it looks slightly different in Cloud but, in Data Center, there is an option in your Preferences where you can configure whether you want to be notified when you make changes. By default, this is set to 'Do not notify me', so perhaps that setting got reverted to the default?
If you go into your Profile, there is a 'Preferences' section. You should be able to see that value and, if you want to change it, there is a pencil icon. Note this is for Jira Data Center. I don't know if it looks different on Cloud.

Thanks Matt. Since I didn't see this option in my Preferences, so I asked our admin to check and our admin said he didn't do anything and we got it back. Not sure what happened, but I can receive email notifications about my changes again now.
Thank you again.

Hi @Joyce Guo and welcome to the Community,
are you the Jira Admin? There is a feature called "Notification Helper" in the Administration where you can check notifications for a specific user on a specific issue.
Can you check whether you *should* receive notifications? Maybe something has changed.
I guess you haven't changed personal notification settings? There have been some updates to those recently so there may have possibly been changes in the default setting so worth checking.
