How to use unicode arrow 🡶 in select field ?

I would like to show an arrow icon in a select custom field like this https://symbl.cc/en/1F876/ but it's doesn't work.

Do you know why ? Is it work in your jira ?

I'm using Jira Software 9.2.0 and the arrow displays correctly:
