HI @Angus Smith
You would first need to create a custom field in the system to store the suppliers.
Then you can import them via external import cvs option, this requires you to be jira administrator.

Hi @Angus Smith
Can you explain it what do you mean by suppliers? Those should be a new account in Jira?

Hi Sebastian, thanks for responding. By suppliers, I mean companies that we deal with. This particular issue is for our procurement department, so that when they log an issue, they can just select one of the supplier companies we deal with from a drop down in one of the screens. Here are two screenshots as a reference.

I'm afraid that this is not possible to do via rest api (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-36112). I don't know other solution how you can update CF values in a bulk.

Hi @Angus Smith and @Sebastian Krzewiński ,

Hi, ok so if I cant upload the bulk list, then how do I do one by one? (I am very new to Jira and especially to being an admin). Where would I go to add the entries individually?

Hi @Angus Smith
Go via the cog wheel to the issues section, then on the left hand menu choose Custom Fields
Find the custom field "Supplier Name", press the 3 dots and the end and choose context and default value.
Then choose Edit options.

Working. I cannot load the list but at least I can add manually. Thank you Marc/Sebastian.
