How to notify/monitor when user account is impersonated?

For compliance/audit purposes, we need to have a paper trail of any time a user's account was impersonated using Scriptrunner's "switch to a different user" feature.

I know the Audit Log will track these, however we would like to get notified so we're immediately aware of the impersonation, preferably by email or Slack, instead of having to manually go check the logs every so often.

Is this possible? If so, what's the best way to achieve something like this?

Have you tried setting up a listener for that? You can set up a listen whenever that script is used and send custom email notifications using Scriptrunner.
