How to make field Mandatory on edit screen for jira cloud?

How do I make the field mandatory on the edit screen for Jira Cloud?

Whenever someone edits the issue, I want to make one custom field mandatory.

I’m able to do this requirement on the Jira server/DC as we have an edit screen over there for Jira.

But on Jira Cloud, we have Edit/View Screen combined.

So kindly tell me how I can achieve this requirement.

Thanks for the quick response.

Its saying "If you make a field Required, ensure that the field is present on your Create Issue screen(s):"

But my requirement is I want to make a certain field mandatory only on edit screen. The field which I need to make mandatory, I don't want that field on create screen.

If I do so, then that field will become mandatory for create screen as well and I don't want that.

Is there any way to achieve this.

Please let me know.
