We have Jira Software Cloud as well as Confluence Cloud available.
Is it possible to link to a file stored in Confluence, directly out of a Jira issue?
We only can link Confluence pages directly out of a Jira issue, but choosing files, that are stored in confluence, seems not possible.
Can someone help here?
Thanks!
Hello @Dominik Helber
There is no native option that will allow you to search through the files in Confluence from the Link option in Jira.
If you want to link directly to a file in Confluence you would need to get the URL for the attached file and add that as a Web Link on the Jira issue.
Hello @Trudy Claspill ,
thanks for your fast response.
Do you know if there is an app for Jira cloud, that let you check on the attachment file type (docx, png etc.)? Similiar to the Attachment Checker for Jira for Server and DC?
Or any other solution to limit the attachment file types to be uploaded?
Thanks.

The change request for this feature suggests using an Automation Rule to delete unacceptable attachments as a work-around.

I am not aware of a comparable third party app for Jira Cloud, but I have never looked for such an app before. You would search the Atlassian Marketplace for apps that relate to Attachments to see if any meet your needs.
