Hi,

I created an issue custom filed "Department" and also User Groups accordingly.

Now I want to grant the view permissions for the issues accordingly.

e.g. The user Group "Accounting" should be able to view only issues with custom field Department = "Accounting", and should not be able to view other issues in the same project, such as Department = "Ops".

Can it be done or should I use a different approach?

Thanks in advance

Hi Matan - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need to implement Issue Level Security Scheme to do that.

Hi @Matan Bichacho !

Idea - use automation rules to setup security level based on your fields. To do that you need to create sec levels for each group and set it in a ticket when Department will be set/change.
