How to expose Versions in a next-gen project?

Hi,

I am trying to expose Versions in my next-gen project so I can assign issues (stories) to a Release.  How do I expose the Versions for me to create within a next-gen Project and therefore assign a Fix Version to a JIRA issue?

As far as I know, this feature is not currently supported.
