How to define 'Remote Issue Picker' script field value in JSON REST API request?

Hello,

I have a problem with defining 'Remote Issue Picker' script field value (field created from Scriptrunner) in JSON request for creating issues through REST API. This field can have multiple issues selected as a value. 

Field is working properly in Jira and we can search remote issues and select them as values.

I have tried different definitions mentioned Scriptrunner's documentation, where I found some info about this type of field, but there was a missing REST API section.

The example of JSON request definition I am looking for:
fields: { customfield_12345: ["MSD-5", "MSD-6"] }

I don't have a ready-to-test remote issue picker field but I would recommend you examine your browser developer tools for what the payload looks like when you create an issue that has such links in the web app.  You should be able to use the same format when creating an issue with the Rest API.
