I want to create a filter for any tickets which might have been set to a specific status and changed later during the project's lifetime.

Any idea what kind of search filter function would help?

Thanks!

Hi @Sree Ram Nair  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can use a JQL like:

project = JIRA and status was in ("In Progress") DURING (2021-10-01, 2021-10-31)

The DURING part is not needed but will narrow down by date when the issue was in that status.

Thank you John! It worked like a charm.

Apologies that I couldn't revert earlier.

Thank you again & have a great year ahead!
