Hi dear.
I am new in Scriptrunner. I have two separate codes that I need to combine.
First step: I need to get emails from the multiply user picker custom field:
def issueKey = 'SYSOPS-1321'
def customFieldName = 'customfield_10204'
def result = get("https://myinstance.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/issue/${issueKey}?fields=${customFieldName}")
.header('Authorization', 'Basic mytoken')
.asObject(Map)
result.body.fields[customFieldName].each{ it ->
getUserEmail(it)
}
def getUserEmail(field) {
logger.info("user email:" + field.emailAddress)
}
Second step: I need to send these emails to the external system and get the team lead's emails
import groovy.json.JsonOutput
final externalUrl = "https://api.hibob.com/"
def userEmail = 'myemail@mydomain.com'
def getResponse = get(externalUrl, "v1/people/" + userEmail + "?fields=work.reportsTo.email&humanReadable=true&includeHumanReadable=false")
if (getResponse) {
def responseGetMap = getResponse as Map
// A code to manage the resulted data can be inserted here, i.e iterate results with responseMap.each{}
responseGetMap.each {}
}
def get(def hostUrl, def endpointAndQuery) {
def token = "myToken"
get("$hostUrl$endpointAndQuery")
.header('Accept', 'application/JSON')
.header('Authorization', "$token")
.asObject(Map)
.body
}
Each of these codes works separately.
How to combine them so that the code receives email addresses from the custom field and automatically sends them to the external system and receives the email of team leads in turn?
I will be grateful for all your tips.
Before merging your code, could you please clarify if both codes are working as expected?
I am looking forward to your feedback and clarification.
Thank you and Kind regards,
Ram
Hi @Ram Kumar Aravindakshan _Adaptavist_
Thank you for your feedback.
