I'm looking to create a dashboard to facilitate the sprint planning process for my team's Product Manager. Ideally, this dashboard would show each of our developer's workloads for both the CURRENT and the UPCOMING sprint. Wondering if anyone has any advice about how to achieve this.

Issues that I'm running into:

  • How to create filters that only pull tickets assigned to the NEXT sprint, rather than pulling tickets assigned to ALL upcoming sprints
  • Wondering if it's possible to set up a dashboard widget that can display multiple filters - for example, being able to click through each developer's filters instead of setting up a different widget for each developer

I'd greatly appreciate any insight - thank you!

Welcome to the community, @Christine Aucoin!

I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

If you want to click through every developer, or even specific sprints, you can try out our Jira cloud app.

Our app provides a Quick Controller gadget, which enables you to dynamically filter all other Quick Gadgets on your Jira Dashboards.

You can test our app without installation on our demo dashboards.

Hi @Christine Aucoin,

For 1st point, to get issues from the next sprint, try this JQL query:

filter="The name of the filter of your agile board" AND sprint in futureSprints()

Sorry, not sure about the second one...

Danut.
