How do I add an icon from the list of aui-experimental-iconfont to the jira attachment view page?

I want to add an icon from com.atlassian.auiplugin:aui-experimental-iconfont  to attachment in the jira.view.issue page.

1. Where do I place this com.atlassian.auiplugin:aui-experimental-iconfont dependency for that? How do I link it to jira.view.issue page?
2. Do I need anything else than a Maven dependency of auiplugin? 
3. Is it possible to add HTML elements directly to the Issue View page or should I use a JavaScript for that?
