How can I make sure story points is not NULL when assigning a sprint?

In order to assign a sprint the story points cannot be NULL.  Is there a way to do this in Jira

@TC Wang Thank you for the response.  I read through those articles but I don't believe they solve my issue.  The first one was for a validator when transitioning.  I'm looking to ensure story points are not NULL when assigning a sprint.
