How can I configure the new jira issue view for multiple projects at the same time

Hi,

Is there a way to set up a standard layout for the "New Jira Issue View" for each issue type, and apply that configuration across all projects? I couldn't find it here

It is very time-consuming having to configure new jira issue view for every issue type again and again for each project.

10 issue types x 10 projects means configuring issue type screens 100 times.

I'm using CLASSIC projects with the "new issue view"

This was broken from the old view to the new view.

Thank you for your reply and sorry not explicitly mentioning the project type.

I'm using classic projects and all screens were customised for each issue type using the "old issue view".

However, the new issue view ignored that and, what seems to be worse, It appears that I have to change the view configuration for the same issue type again and again for all my projects.

I hope there's a workaround that would allow me to do this once for each issue type.

Hi @Tinker Fadoua ,

There are mixed feelings, but we're more inclined to switch back.

There are some important features that we're missing on the "new view"

* "dot" shortcuts are not there anymore

* Some important confluence links are not displayed anymore

* Tabs

* Ability to rank to top from the menu

The new view has a better "editor" and some of the renderers (such as multi-select text) are much more usable (we use them a lot)...
