We are encountering an issue similar to the one described in this post: Make a field Show/Hide depending on creating request types in Jira Service Management.
In our case, when we modify issue type fields through Project Settings > Field Configurations, the fields still appear in the project when selecting the issue type via filters.
Our goal is to ensure that the spreadsheet/list view is consistent for all users. We understand that changes to issue type fields should apply universally to everyone involved in the project. However, this does not seem to be happening as expected.
Any insights or solutions to ensure the field configuration changes are reflected consistently for all users would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide some screen image to help illustrate the behaviour you are seeing but find undesirable?
