Hi all!

We are looking to collaborate with external specialists on our projects and would like to grant them access only to certain epics/issues they are directly working on, rather than providing full access to the entire project. This is to ensure data privacy and focus their attention on relevant tasks.

Does Jira support this level of permission granularity, allowing us to restrict access to specific epics, stories, or issues for external users? If so, could you please guide us on how to configure these permissions effectively?

Thank you in advance for your help!

We have done this with issue level security. We made a custom user picker field for something like "Additional Participants" and said that anyone that is listed on an issue in that field can see those issues only but nothing else where they are not listed.
