How did the GitHub integration work after migrating to the cloud? Should I be integrating GitHub before the migration or after? And when you did add the GitHub app into your cloud did it automatically connect your historic tickets?

Hi @Alejo and welcome to the Community,

While I haven't done this myself, you connect Github to a project in Jira. Since your project must be migrated before you can connect anything to it, it seems logical that you migrate your data first and connect Github afterwards (otherwise, there is nothing to connect to).

The integration is based on a reference to your Jira issue keys in your commit and other git messages. Since these issue keys are migrated as they are in your on prem instance, I would expect the Dev information to be connected automatically as well.
