Greetings of the day!!
Today one of my team member getting error while uploading the outlook email item into the JIRA cloud issue. He is getting error like below
Error message : "We couldn't save your attachment" Reloading the issue then try adding it again
How to remediate this error. Please provide your valuable suggestions. To overcome this issue.

It is possible that the issue is related to the size of the image. I recommend compressing the image and attaching it again.

Actually it was an outlook item while trying to attach that outlook email they are getting error like above.
In which format we need to attach that email ??. And also how much size will it accept for the outlook item in JIRA issue ??

It is giving issue with the outlook item only.
Steps tried to attach :
1. While attaching the outlook email in .msg format or .eml format frequently iam getting error even though the size of that email is 138kb.
2. I have tried to zip that outlook email and tried to upload it to the JIRA issue still getting the same error size of the zip format is 38kb.
3. .txt and .png extensions files while try to attach it is working for me without any error.
Error message : "We couldn't save your attachment" Reloading the issue then try adding it again
Let me know some suggestions that how can i able to upload the outlook email into the JIRA issue properly without getting any error.

To seamlessly integrate Outlook emails or items with Jira issues, you can utilize the free Atlassian plugin called "Jira Cloud for Outlook." Once added to your Outlook account, this plugin facilitates easy attachment of emails to issues at no cost. Developed by Atlassian itself, it requires installation in Outlook rather than Jira. After adding the app, configuration within your Outlook account is necessary. By accessing the apps section and selecting Jira, you will be prompted to review permissions and specify your instance in Outlook. Subsequently, when composing an email that needs to be associated with a Jira ticket, clicking on the three dots in the top corner will reveal an option to send it to specific issues. Upon selection of the relevant issues, the email will be automatically attached under the corresponding issue.
you have configure the Jira cloud in you outlook app you just need to select the instance and login into your Atlassian account in outlook you refer the documentation from the link I provided .

Thanks for your detailed solution.
At the beginning of the first step itself iam getting error while installing the JIRA cloud for outlook plugin. Cant able to install it in my JIRA cloud environment.
Steps that which i have performed:
1. Opened link https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220666/jira-cloud-for-outlook-official?tab=overview&hosting=cloud and clicked and learn more to install this plugin
2. My Microsoft credentials are verified outlook too. Clicked for install the plugin getting error like above attached snap.
3. Please let me know why iam getting error while installing the plugin even my outlook credentials are verified successfully.

Can you trying installing it from the outlook you go the outlook app or the outlook web and if you go to the apps there will be add apps option and you can search and download from there.

in this link after selecting the get it now a pop up will be shown like the following
and we have to give continue. if your pop up is blocked in your web browser then it will show as the installation failed. we have to login into our outlook account while downloading.

Yes, I try to download it from the outlook app also iam getting permission denied prompt.
Step - 2 : I have tried to install the that plugin through the above provided URL. Iam getting like installation failed. Even through it is verified my outlook logged in provivided my credentials.

Seems like you need to ask your office admin, like a system administrator to install the app. they may blocked the access to users to install. For me when downloaded I didn't face any issues but it asked admin permission I was able to give it. can you check with your team.

Yes, you are right due to some permission and restrictions provided by our company. We cant able to download/install the app. I will ask our System admin team to check on the issue. They are the right persons to sort our the issue.
