Is it possible to access/download our data in the cloud directly?

We would like to use it for an IA project, so we do not want to use rest api's, but would like to have a copy of our data

Hi,

You could download a backup, that should give you all the data. The drawback is that you need to figure out the format of the XML backup files.

You could also do a search and export the issues to a csv file, but that will be a bit cumbersome since you can only get 1000 issues at a time in Cloud.

You could still use REST and just save the data. If you have some programming skills, you could write a small client that fetches all issues and save them locally.

Hi Sune,

Thanks for the fast reply

I think, we will try to make a back-up and see if we can figure it out.

But in case we can not, could you explain how I do a search and then export?

Go to 'Filters -> Advanced issue search'. Modify the time interval for 'Created' to select chunks of issues in sizes less than 1000.
