Emails attached to an issue opens as text

We have emails added as attachments to our issues. When we click them they opens as text files. The only way we can get them to open in Outlook is to download them first (unnecessary step) 

How can we open them automatically in Outlook without downloading them first?

Hi @Carl Stephan Aspfors  Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You can do this easily by changing setting of the browser >> 

Uncheck "Ask where to save each file before downloading" >> and change "Always open file of this type".
