Duplicate/clone locked fields (Sprint Field)

Hello,

Does JIRA allow you to duplicate/clone locked fields and create them into a custom field?  Example: Duplicating the sprint field.

I have a user asking to create a custom field with the same values of the Sprint field.

Hello @Charles Lindsay 

Before implementing that change I recommend you dig into discovering what problem the user is trying to solve with that solution.

The Sprint field specifically cannot be exactly duplicated, as it is a unique field type that Jira does not make available to be used as the field type for additional custom fields.

If we understood the problem that is trying to be solved we would be better able to offer you advice on ways to solve it.
