Hello,
Running cloud software premium.
I have a board where I want to show the Due Date in the card displayed in the kanban board. I know how to do this, and went to project settings>card layout> and then added Dude Date.
However, nothing shows up on the card. Any ideas why:
I did troubleshoot
- but overall what throws me off is that another board in the same project, using the same screen has the date displayed on the card. Everything is the same on the two boards, they just use different filters. And the filter is just on a custom field and the LOB of the client, so don't think it has to do anyting with the date, and the JQL doesn't say it does either.
Board details
- swimlanes based on epics
- standard workflow, everything can transition to anything
- really out of the box, i just want to add the due date to the card.
Hi @philipf
Have you checked if there are multiple fields named Due Date, such as where someone added a custom field with the same name? If so, the wrong one is displaying.
Kind regards,
Bill
Yes, I checked that. There isn't any duplicative fields for date.
And the weird part is that the project has two boards, and the other board displays the date. Everything else is the same, ticket types, screen, field configs, it is just two different filters on the same project tickets.
I checked the filter and all it does is filter on one custom field by business vertical.
I've tried to mimic the exact custom card setup and nothing. Just doesn't work.

Have you found a specific Jira issue which you see has a value for Due Date? Does that Jira issue display on the board, regardless of whether or not it shows the field?
If the card does not display, have you checked if there is another filter preventing display, such as the Kanban board sub-filter? You may find that filter here:
... menu > Configure board > General
