Our users have complained that the subject of the email notifications no longer contains the ticket subject. Was this a change you made recently? And, does this mean there's no way to customize it?
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7266
New example email subject: "[JIRA] (DE-606) Issue was updated"
Old example email subject: "[JIRA] (DE-636) Remove the t_external_condition.misc_text"
As far as I know, there is no changes made recently to the email notification.
Re the subject of notification, it depends on the types of events happen.
e.g. Issue assigned to a new person, the subject line will be" Person XYZ assigned DE-606 to you"
or e.g. Issue commented, the subject line will be the Summary of the ticket aka the original ticket subject.
By default this is how the notification works. But you might wanna customize it by automation to reflect the subject lines of tickets no matter what kind of events happening.
@Zoey Wang , how would I customize it? What sort of automation are you referring to?
