Dependence line not showing for "has to be done after"

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am trying to graphically show the dependency link line on the timeline view for two specific tasks. When I add a link issue using "is blocked by" the line appears between the two tasks. When I add a link issue using "has to be done after" the line does not appear. I have illustrated this scenario in the attached view of my timeline. We are using the JIRA Software Standard Addition.
