I am trying to graphically show the dependency link line on the timeline view for two specific tasks.  When I add a link issue using "is blocked by" the line appears between the two tasks.  When I add a link issue using "has to be done after" the line does not appear.  I have illustrated this scenario in the attached view of my timeline.  We are using the JIRA Software Standard AdditionDependence.JPG

In the Timeline view in the Standard subscription only the "blocks" link is supported for indicating dependencies. Refer to

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-dependencies-between-epics-on-the-timeline/
