After our cloud migration we ended up with some duplicate issues. No big deal. During clean of screens and screen schemes however I have been unable to figure out how to deleted duplicate screens that are assigned to duplicate screen schemes. Example...
Screen1 (migrated) is associated with ScreenScheme1 (migrated).
There is no workflow associated.
I seem to be stuck. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Mike
The order you need to delete this is delete the issue type screen scheme first, then the screen theme followed by the screen. Here is a good reference on how the different schemes are connected, the KB is for Data Center but it works the same way on Cloud. Basically you start with the scheme closed to the project and work your way up.
Hi @Mike Bell ,
To expound a little bit on what Mikael mentioned, in order for you to be able to delete a screen, it has to not be linked to any other piece of configuration.
A screen is not directly connected to a project. A screen belongs is a part of a screen scheme, which is then a part of the Issue Type Screen Scheme which is then connected to a project.
So in order to delete a screen, you will need to see which screen schemes it belongs to and then there after also check if they have any issue type screen schemes they are connected to.
Once you have determined that, then you will have to delete from the Issue Type screen scheme, then the screen scheme, and then finally the screen itself.
Hope that clarifies.
