Database connection issues

Question

Hello,

Currently we are trying to connect Jira to our sql server data base through the ScriptRunner "Database connecion" option.

Is there anything I am doing wrong or any furher configurations are needed in order to perform the connection?

Thank you fo your reply.

I confirmed with the database administrator the  password and the user name as correct. Though  I have no access to it.

Also the user  name has "\$" special carachter in it. Do you think  this  could be the poblem? As  jql quiry does not recognize it... just guessing

Hi @Iryna Pazharytskaya

The error message is saying the login failed for the user. Can you try logging into the database with that username and password to see if it works there?
