Anyone successfully set up the JIRA Issues(NextGen) LWC on a Lightning Record Page for JIRA Cloud?

Working on setting up the component on a record page but the component is throwing a bunch of errors.

Looking at the docs here, it states If you're using Jira Cloud, the Salesforce Package needs to connect to an intermediary server hosted by us. See Security statement for more information.)

Looking through the security statement, I wasn't sure what the next step should be. Didn't see anything like "for this server, do this", unless I missed it.

Just trying to figure out what is missing to get this component to work on the Lightning Record Page.

Hi there,
My name is Alejandra from Appfire Apps Support, and I'm happy to help!

For Server/DC, unlike Cloud, we must use the URL of the Jira instance in the Remote Site Settings. Here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Navigate to the Remote Site Settings in Salesforce.
  2. On the Edit Remote Sites screen, enter the following details:
    • Remote Site Name: Jira
    • Remote Site URL:  <enter your Jira instance URL>

Adding this URL and ensuring the connection between both platforms should resolve the issues you're facing with the components.

Please try adding the URL to your Remote Site Settings, and let me know how it goes!

Regards,
Alejandra

Hello Alejandra,

I am on JIRA Cloud. The URL when signing in is https://<company>.atlassian.net. I already added this URL as a Remote Site in Salesforce and the LWC still errors out.

In the docs, it states for JIRA Cloud that it needs to connect to an intermediary server but I am not sure what that process entails. I am trying to figure out next steps to make this component work with JIRA Cloud and Salesforce.

Hi @VTG Consulting

Thank you for the clarification.

Since you are using Jira Cloud, you indeed need to connect through an intermediary server. Please update your Remote Site Settings in Salesforce to the following URL: https://sfjc.integration.appfire.app/.

The final configuration should look something like this:

Please try this and let me know if it resolves the issue.
