Change PJ owner

Hi All,

I am a project owner (Admin) in Jira, but I would like to change the owner to another person.
since we need to keep the member as 10 for free plan.

Could you please provide some instructions?
or the only way is to create a new project?

Hi @Iris Chien

To change the project owner in Jira, follow these steps:

1. Go to the project you want to change the owner of.
2. Click on the Settings gear icon.
3. Select Project Details.
4. In the Project Lead field, enter the name or email address of the new project owner.
5. Click Save.

The new project owner will now be able to manage the project.
