Can we create 2 Product backlogs or two Scrum boards under one Project

Hi All,

Currently our project in JIRA has a Product backlog with many issues which are old and Business is not in a hurry to prioritize them as we have new JIRAs to work.

I want to have two product backlogs where in I can have active JIRAs in 1 PB, I can have  and other backlog I can consider that as Archive.

Can I apply this using Epics.

I tried to configure the scrum boards with epics, but some how filter is not working.

Can someone guide me here, if this is possible

No I think ,you can not create two backlog on one board.
