I'd like to use Group A is a transition condition, if, depending on a field value, I can copy one of several groups to group A in an automation.
If that can't be done, can I create multi-user Field A, to which the automation can copy one of the aforementioned groups, and use Field A as the transition condition?
Hi @Phil Bustin ,
In Jira Automation, You can add multiple conditions. After you add your trigger, just add as many conditions you would like. For example, you can add a condition to look for field 1 specific values and another condition to check for fields 2 and so forth.
Hope this helps.
I know an automation can set fields, When I posted the question, I did forget for the moment that a transition field value condition can work the same as a group condition. So certainly, in an automation, copying a multi-user field from a group (or that can't be done, from another multi-user field) should work.
I seem to recall that there is no automation action that will copy a group from another group. Please confirm.

My question remains: Can an automation edit issue action copy one group to another group?
