Hi,
I'm exploring the possibility to use a Power Bi connector with Jira Software Cloud.
I want to know if once the connection is made between Jira and Power BI if i can get in Power BI the historical data (the changelog) of issues?
Thank you!
Hi @Patricia González,
Our Microsoft Power BI Connector for Jira is worth exploring if you're considering third-party integrations.
When creating the data source you will be able to choose table "Histories" and other relevant historical data tables and fields to be exported to Power BI, i.e. Time in Status History, Time by Status Report, Time in Status Key Metrics, etc.
Feel free to book a demo by writing to our support if you need any assistance.
Warm regards,
Max
I have the same need, where can I find Histories and other tables in the Connector? I can see two modules in my Jira-PB Connector: Jira Work Management, Jira Software, none of them contain the history table.

Hi @Jean Wang
If you're using Power BI Connector for Jira (by Alpha Serve), you can easily find Histories data in a separate table inside Jira Work Management tab - see screenshot attached.

Dear @Jean Wang ,
Could you please specify which Jira-PB Connector you are using? There are several available in the marketplace. Typically, you should find the "Histories" or "Changelogs" tab within the Jira Work Management section.
Best,
Maksym

If you're considering our Power BI Connector for Jira app, you will be able to export the historical data to track issue changes easily.
Feel free to schedule a live demo session to see how this works.
All the best,
Anna from Alpha Serve
