Built-in ScriptRunner Scripts don't appear

Osama Al-Areky

Hello,

When I see tutorials on ScripRunner there are many built-in scripts, but for me I see only 3. What is the reason please and how to solve this?

Thank you,

Hi Osama,

I can confirm the reason for this is that in ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud there are fewer built in scripts than compared to the on-premise versions due to the fact in Cloud Atlassian does not provide the same APIs required to make all the same built-in scripts.

The Feature Parity page shows the differences between the cloud and on-premise versions and in the built-in Scripts section we outline some scripts and solutions to workaround some of the built-in scripts that don't exist in cloud where Jira Cloud has API's to allow this.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

Kristian

Hi @Osama Al-Areky,

Scriptrunner for Jira Data Center and Scriptrunner for Jira Cloud are different products with different feature sets. I guess the documentation you've seen is for Data Center - there are many more built-in scripts there indeed.

Hope this helps!
