Boards crashing after upgrading jira to 8.6.1 -> 8.7.1

Krzysztof Skotnicki December 1, 2020

After upgrading jira to the most current version all Boards are crashing.

  • Re-indexing - done
  • Plugins are in safe mode
  • Webbrowser - Firefox, Chrome, Edge - incognito
  • new jira installation

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Hi Krzysztof,

as you stated here it is a Jira Core product you are using - are you sure licensing is okay?

Apart from that there is a more generic knowledge base entry:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/edit-of-an-issue-throws-uncaught-typeerror-error-in-jira-server-779159021.html

Other reports ended with a support request but the users did not report back how it was fixed finally.

Cheers,
Daniel
