Are development (integration) tools not supported for Team-Managed Business Projects?

We have a Team-Managed Business Project in Jira that the team that works within it have found it useful for their needs as they do more operational work than development work. However, they sometimes have need to do some development work, which they do in GitHub.

The problem is that this work has been increasing and they now want to integrate GitHub account with their Jira project but unfortunately, it does not seem have development tools like other Company-Managed and/or Software Projects. So I cannot seem to find a way to integrate or connect their project to GitHub.

Does Jira not support development tools for Team-Managed Business Projects? If no, is there a work around for this?

In addition, all the documentation I've looked at has been in reference to setting up development tools integration for Jira Software vs. Work Management so I'm not convinced that Atlassian intends that functionality to be available in Work Management projects.
