Approval Field Question

Hi everyone,

i would like to ask how and if it is possible to build in the approval field for specific bug issue types.

Our clue is:

We want to recheck bugs which are closed by assignees.

Cause of the fact we have to work within the correct process and traceability, we need the approval field as last part of workflow.

Which means:

Bug created -> Assignee is assigned -> Progress changed from Open to In Progress -> after finishing the bug, Assignee changes the Bug to Closed -> Now the recheck should come in case of "Approval" (best case would be, that we can create for example three choosen employees, to do those approvals, no one else) -> Result of Approval "Okay / accepted" or "Not ok / declined"

Is it possible to create such workflow and insert such approval fields without taking any gadget and how?

Hi @Simon Müller,

One of the methods (might need a third-party app such as JMWE or JSU) - you can use the workflow condition or validator for the approval. Example; Verify Approval in a Jira Workflow.
