Allow Logging Work when Editing issue has been restricted

I have created a workflow where I have restricted Editing while the issue is in a Resolved status. I am using the workflow properties below:

I am wondering if there is a way I can restrict editing, but yet allow users to Log Work? I do not want the users to edit the issue, make comments, etc. But I do still want to allow them to log work if needed.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Michelle Gronwold ,

unfortunately, if edit is denied in a specific status user can't worklog and for my knowledge you can't avoid that.
