Hi
I am having problems adding a security container to a jira project after enabling the new security feature. I can not find any add or edit button. Is there something I am missing?
Hello @Kristmundur Gudmundsson
Can you provide more information about what you mean by "security container"?
Are you following guidance from some online document? Can you provide a link to that document?
Yes, in jira, on the left side there is a new option "Security". When I selected this for the first time I was able to select the repositories to monitor, that are called "Security containers" in this view.
Now I need to add another repository, and I can not find the option to do that.
Best regards

Can you show us the screen you get now when you click on the Security option in the left panel?
According to the documentation these are the steps that should allow you to add another container.
From your project's sidebar, select Security.
Select Edit security containers in the top-right of the screen.
Select the add connection button () next to the container’s security tool.
Choose the container from the list and select Add container.
I don't have security tools to connect to my Jira instance, so I can't actually work through the steps to see the screens in my environment.

Hi @Trudy Claspill
is there perhaps any way to automate the process, add them programatically or define the containers e.g. via wildcards?
Manually adding each container is quite time-consuming, as well as integrating new containers when they are created by product teams.
Thank you!

Hello @michael.batrla
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
I don't have an answer for you. I don't work with the Security container functionality.
I see that you started a new Question post on the topic.
That is the best way to get wider visibility into your question from the community.
