Add custom emojis in automation

Hi,

I am trying to add a custom emoji to the Issue Summary via automation if they meet a condition in another custom field (application name), I found a way to do it with emojis that already exist in JIRA, but this way is not working for the ones added by myself.

What do you mean by emojis you have added your self? You mean copy/pasted e.g. from emojipedia or a similar website? What kind of emoji you are trying to add to the summary?

I basically added my own emoji here:

Since summary is a plain text field, I'm not sure you can add any emoji besides the unicode emojis:

What kind of emojis did you use on your summary, and how did you copy them inside the summary?
