Ability to configure and set automatic Email / SMS notifications

Hello All,

Is there any way to get SMS notifications  for certain tickets?

How can we auto configure SMS and Email in Jira , could you please suggest or provide guideline so we can implement or test from our end .

Yes, You achieve this, follow the steps below
1. Create an account on https://zapier.com and create a 2 step workflow
2. Create an account on https://help.clicksend.com 

You need to set up a trigger and That's it.

For email notifications :

Go to the Project dashboard => Project settings => Notifications => Notification Scheme.

Hi Rajat,

 

With default JIRA functionalities, it's not possible. However, there are apps in the marketplace to send SMS notifications based on certain conditions.

 

Take a look at Notifications for Jira for example.

Hi Rajat,

 

Currently, it's not possible to configure SMS notifications in Jira.

We had feature requests for Jira Cloud and Server, but it was closed as "Won't do":

JRASERVER-32860

Email notification already had in Jira, this configuration is made directly in the project settings on "Notifications" and "Customer notifications" (if you are using Jira Service Desk), but it also depends on the type of notification you need, if it's something specific, please let us know.
